I spent most of my career helping people understand complex systems and find their place in them. In public health, that meant connecting communities with research, education, and a real chance to take part.

Research & public health
Where I learned that information alone is never enough.
My public-health work centered on tuberculosis and TB/HIV co-infection research and community engagement, including work with the NIH AIDS Clinical Trials Group (ACTG) and the CDC TB Trials Consortium. People need context, trust, and a realistic path to action. I teach AI the same way.
